One Month Old

We have a little catching up to do on the blog. Jacob will be two months old in just a week. wow! time has been flying by. These photos were taken when Jacob was exactly one month old.

He is a big boy! When we brought him in to the pediatrician for his 2 week appointment, the doctor was making sure that Jacob was back to his birth weight (because babies loose weight at the very beginning) in Jacob's case we were looking for 7 lbs 10 oz. Jacob weighed in at over 9lbs! The nurse exclaimed "WOA little piggy!"

Unfortunaly this little guy has GERD just like Christine, and up until his pediatrician appointment it was getting worse every day. The screaming, arching back, poor feedings... poor Jacob. Luckily we know so much more this time, and at his 2 week appoinment we got his pediatrician to write him a perscription for prevacid. Bless you prevacid. Jacob is back to being a happy wonderful baby. We are able to bring him to church and stay in the chapel during the whole meeting! We never could do that with Chrisitne.

 He's already outgrown his 0-3 month clothes What?!

He sleeps from 9pm to 2am then wakes up every 2 hours after that. If only I could get to bed earlier I could enjoy that nice 5 hour stretch!
