Reception
Ashley's reception was beautiful. Her colors were pink, pink, and pink. Her theme was pink flamingos- soo Ashley! (And only Ashley could pull it off!)
Unfortunately, that meant Jeff had to wear a pink tie (Jeff is quite particular about his ties... silly boy). Jeff was worried about the pink tie, but once he put it on with his boutonniere he looked smashing! Very wedding-esque.
The cheesecake was a big hit.
Especially to Brian and Zachary
I don't think Jessica was a fan of it on her foot though.
Jessica made the cake, and Ashley made her own cake topper. I think they turned out adorable!
And of course we had to decorate their car! All of the cousins did a fabulously classy job. Props to Eric for the perfect flamingo touch!

Ashley's Wedding
This weekend we flew back to Utah for Ashley and Tyler's wedding!!!

Mission Call!
Congratulations to my brother Eric! He received his mission call and will be going to Everette Washington!Woodworkin' Husband
Once upon a time an AT&T technician came over to our house to fix our modem (for the record, I HATE AT&T) and the technician told us that we should not have our modem on the floor because the static in the carpet can ruin it. So my amazing husband decided he would make a little stand for the router and modem. First, he asked for a big piece of wood for his birthday. Then we went to Jeff's parents house to use their table saw, and Jeff brought his fancy shmancy router he got from my dad. Then he made this beautiful stand! It hides all the ugly cords and now the static won't kill the modem. He was VERY proud of his beveling job and LOVES his router! YAY for being married to a handy man!!Hermann Park
On Tuesday, Jeff took me on a picnic at Hermann Park. The park is about 5 minutes from our house. Its the Central Park equivalent of Houston- it even has a zoo! 
Jeff made delicious sloppy joes...yummy! And Jeff gave our cranberry juice to a guy who said he hadn't eaten all day... uh awkward.
The park has very odd looking ducks. Seriously, are these even ducks?
The park was really pretty, but after walking around for a while the humidity became unbearable. It is so HOT here!
I gave Jeff this shrit for his birthday, doesn't he look GREAT in it?
I was sad when I read this sign, "Entering water is prohibited"
I mean look at that refreshing and delighful looking water! If that sign wasn't there I would have jumped in!

Astros Game
For Jeff's birthday, Jeff's family took us to an Astros game. We had amazing seats, and had fun guessing the stats. I am now an official Houstonian because I have sung "Deep in the heart of Texas" and cheered for the Astros!
Sadly, the Astros lost to the Pirates, but it was still a great game and we almost caught a foul ball.

Last week Jeff turned 24!!!
We celebrated at our apparatment with chicken crepes and snicker's pie. Then we drove up to Kingwood for the weekend. 
We saw "Up" in 3D with Janie and Amy. It was a really cute movie, and the 3D effects were pretty cool. That night, Bruce and Janie took us to Chuey's- a DELICIOUS tex-mex resturant. Then we went back to the house and ate cheese cake! (Jeff's favorite).

Projects
When we moved in to our new place, Mark gave us some really great furniture that we love. However, there were these 2 matching pieces with white knobs that Jeff mentioned looked like eyeballs. After he said that, everytime I looked at them, all I saw were eyeballs. So we had to do something about it!
