Carving Pumpkins

A few days before Halloween we carved pumpkins with our friends the Bradleys. They blogged about our pumpkin carving adventure here. Katie is a better photographer than myself so you should go check out the pictures she took that night.

The Bradleys have twin boys, and Christine has a crush on both of them. Dash immediately began trying to woo Christine with his charming eyes...

But then Liam made a move, and Dash was shocked that his eyes had failed him. Don't worry Dash, Christine was just playing hard to get.

See she only has eyes for you!

The pumpkin carving that night is a bit embarrassing to talk about.

I was inspired this year by the picture in the bottom, center.

And this was as far as I got.

Instead of carving, I held my colicy baby (1 more month until she outgrows it, I hope). I thought I would finish the pumpkin later but we kept the pumpkin outside our door and now the entire inside of the pumpkin is covered in mold. Not quite sure why, humidity perhaps?

Jeff, however, was much more successful. Sadly, we never took pictures of his pumpkin lit up because we never lit our pumpkins! ha ha this is what having a baby does to you!
